The Rotary Club of Saint Joseph's 2025-2026 District Grant project has been to install an accessible outdoor area for the new Day Program at Life Unlimited's St. Joseph location.
Club President-elect Bill McCammon led this District Grant project, which was made possible with $2,500 from a Rotary Foundation District Grant and with $2,500 from the club's funds.
Over the winter, the club gathered at Spaeth Construction to assemble the accessible gardens and picnic table, and in the Spring of 2026, Rotarians held a series of work sessions at Life Unlimited to construct a gazebo, lay mulch, and install the garden beds and picnic table.
This outdoor space will be used by the participants in the new Life Unlimited Day Program, made up of individuals with disabilities from Northwest Missouri.
